Aloo Chanae Ki Tarkari

Ingredients

Boiled chickpeas:      250 grams
Boiled potatoes 250
:      grams
Onion chopped
:      1
Tamarind paste
:      ½ cup
All spice powder
:      1 tsp
Red chilli crushed
:      1 tbsp
Cumin powder
:      1 tbsp
Onion seeds
:      ½ tbsp
Garlic paste
:      2 tbsp
Oil
:      4 tbsp
Green coriander chopped
:      3 to 4 tbsp
Salt
:      as required



Recipy

1. Heat oil in a pan.

2. Add chopped onion and fry till it turns light golden brown.

3. Add garlic paste and fry well for 1-2 minutes.

4. Add boiled potatoes followed by boiled chickpeas, crushed red chili, cumin powder, tamarind paste, all spice powder and salt.

5. Add a sufficient amount of water and cook till a uniform mixture is formed.

6. Then add onion seeds and cook till thick gravy is formed.

7. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve.
