Mohan Thal






Ingredients

Ghee:       ½ cup
Besan:      1 cup 
Milk:      ½ cup 
Sugar:      ¾ cup 
Cardamoms:      4 
a small piece of Nutmeg 
chironji, Poppy seeds and Almonds (optional) 




Recipy

1. Heat ghee in a kadai. Add the besan and stir thoroughly.

2. Heat milk and add to the besan, stirring constantly and evenly.

3. When the besan turns reddish-brown and light, 'move from. fire. 

4. In another vessel, put in the sugar and half a cup of water.


5. Stir on a medium fire and make a one-thread syrup.

6. Add the syrup to the besan.

7. Then add powdered cardamoms and nutmeg.

8. Stir until the mixture no longer sticks to the kadai. 

9. Pour into a previously greased thali, and even out the surface.


10. Garnish with chironji, poppy seeds and finely Chopped almonds. , After 5 to 10 minutes, cut into small squares.
