Black Pepper Chicken (Chinese Style)






Ingredients

Boneless chicken:      400 gm (cut into ½ inch dices)
Corn flour:      3 tbsp (for sprinkle)
Onions:      3 medium (cut into medium size cubes)
Capsicum (optional):      1 (cut into small cubes)
Garlic:      1 tbsp (chopped)
Oil for frying:      as required
Oil for gravy:      2 tbsp


For Sauce:
Oyster sauce:      4 tbsp
Vinegar:      ½ tbsp
Soya sauce:      1 tbsp
Black pepper:      1 tbsp (freshly crushed)
Granulated sugar:      1 tbsp
Salt:      ½ tbsp



Recipy

1. Mix well all the sauce ingredients in a bowl.

2. On chicken, sprinkle corn flour and deep fry just for 2-3 minutes.

3. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a wok, add onions and fry till half done.

4. Add garlic and sauce ingredients.

5. After a minute add fried chicken cubes.

6. Add capsicum and cook for another 2 minutes on high flame.

7. Serve hot with plain rice.
